SRINAGAR: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal’s appointment as an Additional Judge for another one-year term in the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
This decision follows a review of his judgments, which were rated as “good” by a committee of two Supreme Court judges.
Justice Nargal, who assumed office in June 2022, has an extensive legal career spanning over three decades, including serving as Senior Advocate and Senior Additional Advocate General.
His appointment is set to commence on June 3, 2024.
