SRINAGAR: Four people were injured after a Scorpio vehicle met with an accident in the Mendhar area of Poonch district on Monday evening.
Officials said the accident occurred around 5:25 pm at Uchhad near the BSF camp when the vehicle, bearing registration number JK-02DH-9659, was travelling from Poonch towards Mendhar.
The injured were identified as driver Gurvinder Singh, Kulvinder Singh, Pinder Kour and Harmit Kour, all residents of Dara Dullian in Poonch.
Personnel of the 182 Battalion of the BSF immediately launched a rescue operation and shifted the injured to the battalion hospital for treatment.
Locals appreciated the prompt response of the BSF personnel during the rescue operation. (GNS)
