SRINAGAR: Society of Dental Surgeons, Jammu and Kashmir expresses heartfelt condolences on the sad demise Dr M Ashraf Mir (Senior Medical Officer) who lost his life in the line of performing COVID duties. The deceased was a noble soul and a dedicated professional.
The statement said that his loss has shattered whole medical fraternity and SDSJK in this hour of gloom appeals the fraternity & general public to pray for him and pray for immense patience to the family of deceased to bear this irreparable loss.
SDSJK demands the authorities to issue orders for establishing a Health Care Workers Welfare Fund System just like what is being followed in the police department so that the future of families of the in-service deceased is secured.
The file is already under process in secretariat but is biting the dust for the reasons better known to the government, said the statement.
SDSJK stresses for fast processing of the file and order in this context be issued as early as possible.
