Society of Dental Surgeons J&K (SDSJK) demands risk allowances from the authorities for medical employees who are at the frontline to tackle Covid-19 crisis.

Dr Imtyaz Banday, President SDSJK has applauded the role of medical employees during the current circumstances. They are putting their lives as well as lives of their families on stake but it’s a matter of utmost pride to see them delivering like a soldier with the compromised armoury and are hopeful that the voids are bridged at the earliest.

Dr Adil Wani, Spokesperson SDSJK said that keeping in view the risk factor into consideration medical employees should be given risk allowances and other emoluments for which we have been knocking the doors of authorities since long. It is high time to take a decision on this by the Govt. and issue orders accordingly.

Meanwhile, recently issued order of pay deduction should not be implemented on health employees so to upbeat their morale. Rather salaries of all stakeholders pertained to Covid Crisis should be paid in advance along with incentives.

Medical Staff is working like warriors and their morale should be boosted by all means.
