Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday launched a search operation in the region Hiranagar area of Kathua district.
Reports said that the forces also pressed in the services of Helicopter zero in on the suspected hiding militants.
They said that some local villagers had noticed the presence of four suspects when they were working in the fields.
They immediately informed police about the suspicious movement. The forces later tightened the security in border area.
