SRINAGAR: Security forces launched search operations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, officials said on Monday.
The search operations were carried out with the help of sniffer dogs and aerial surveillance in Sawjian areas of Mandi tehsil following reports of suspicious movement in the area, reports appearing in media said.
Meanwhile, a search operation is underway in Krishnagati, Dharti, Dhara, Magnad and Jallas areas of Poonch to track down the militants, who had fired on a convoy of Army vehicles on Friday.
