SRINAGAR: Search operations have resumed in the forests of Doda after a gunfight erupted between militants and security forces on Tuesday.
According to officials, the encounter began on Tuesday in the forested area of Doda. The exchange of fire lasted for two hours, prompting authorities to initiate search operations, which were paused overnight.
The official said that extensive searches resumed on Wednesday morning to locate the hiding terrorists.
