SRINAGAR: Security forces on Friday found an IED in the Ramsoo area of Ramban district in Jammu division.
Official sources said that a cooker IED was discovered at a Shrine Board washroom near Ceigall Company in Ramsoo, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramsoo, by the SOG Ramban.
They said the bomb disposal squad was subsequently called in, and the IED was defused on the spot without any damage.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (JKNS)
