SRINAGAR: Security forces foiled an attempted drone intrusion along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district after three suspected Pakistani drones entered Indian airspace near Rumlidhara in Nowshera during the intervening hours, officials said.
Alert troops detected the aerial movement and promptly activated counter-drone systems, following which all three drones retreated across the Line of Control, officials said.
A search operation has since been launched in the area as a precautionary measure, with security personnel maintaining heightened vigilance along the border.
Officials said further details would emerge as the search operation progresses.
