SRINAGAR: Security forces on Saturday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition during search operations in the Bandi Mohalla area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that based on specific intelligence inputs, a joint search operation was launched by the Army and Police in the general area of Bandi Mohalla, Channipura Pain, Kupwara.
During the search, two pistols, four pistol magazines, and ammunition were recovered, he said.
The operation is still in progress, and an investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
