Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohd Ashraf Sehrai on Thursday condemned the ill-treatment and solitary confinement of Mushtaq ul Islaam at Haryana Jail and said Mushtaq-ul-Islam has been kept in solitary confinement in a small cell in Jhajjar jail of Haryana.
The spokesman said that leadership and youth day in and out are being subject to detention for their political beliefs and even basic human rights are denied to them in prisons. He also condemned that action of authorities by not presenting Masarat Alam before the court which is against the principles of justice and prisoners rights. He said authorities used these inhuman tactics to just prolong his illegal detention.
Meanwhile, Sehrai condoled the demise of mother of Journalist Noor Ul Qamrain of (Muslim Kashmir )and said that we share the grief with bereaved family and pray for eternal peace of deceased and courage for the family to bear this painful loss.
