Senior human rights lawyer Mir Shafaqat Hussain passed away on Monday after a brief illness at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
According to close family sources, Shafaqat breathed his last on Monday at 10:00 am at Delhi.
Sources said he will be laid to rest at the family’s ancestral graveyard in Dalgate.
