SRINAGAR: A local court on Wednesday granted bail to senior journalist Khalid Gul, who was arrested by police from his residence on Tuesday in connection with a 2017 case.
According to reports appearing in the media, the court after hearing the counsel for Gul granted bail to him on Wednesday.
Gul was associated with a leading newspaper of Jammu and Kashmir for the last many years.
Notably, his residence was searched by Police on November 19 in connection with the investigation of a case related to online threat to journalists in Kashmir.
