Maternal uncle of senior journalist Shams Irfan passed away on Tuesday morning in Ludhiana.
Family sources said Nayeem Ahmad Khan, 65, maternal uncle of Irfan breathed his last in a local hospital in Ludhiana where he was undergoing treatment for a few days.
He will be laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Malerkotla area in Punjab. Khan is survived by his wife and a son.
