SRINAGAR: Navin Agarwal, the senior most IPS officer from the erstwhile J&K cadre who was on deputation to Government Of India as Director General of National Anti Doping Agency, Youth Affairs & Sports, has been repatriated back to J&K.

According to sources, transfers at the senior level of the police department is in the works, and the officer will be posted shortly.

Mr. Agarwal while confirming the report wrote on his twitter account,

“Having served for 5 years as DG & CEO of NADA India, I shall shortly be returning to where I belong: the Jammu and Kashmir Police. It was great preventing and detecting drug abuse by sportspersons. Many thanks to WADA, Sports Ministry, federations and our staff for support”.

It’s worth noting that Mr. Agarwal is to retire in the month July.
