SRINAGAR: Naveen Agarwal, the senior most IPS officer of the erstwhile J&K cadre, who was repatriated back to J&K from central deputation last month has been posted as Director, Civil Liaison, Home Department.
As per government order no.442-JK(GAD) of 2021, dated:17.05.2021, it has been stated,
“In the interest of administration, Mr. Navin Agarwal, IPS (JK:1986), on his repatriation from the Central Deputation, is posted as Director, Civil Liaison, Home Department on ex-cadre basis, with headquarter at Jammu.”
“It is further ordered that in terms of proviso to sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of IPS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the post of Director, Civil Liaison is temporarily upgraded to Level-16 (205400-224400) of Pay Matrix till the same is held by Mr. Navin Agarwal, IPS.”
