SRINAGAR: An army man died, and another was injured after a service rifle of one of the army men accidentally discharged in the Bapora area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Bandipora police posted on X that the army personnel responsible for the incident has been detained.
Police reported that one army man has died, and another has been injured due to the accidental weapon discharge. Legal action has been initiated.
“There has been an accidental weapon discharge resulting in one fatality and one injury to army personnel. The accused army personnel has been detained, and necessary legal action has been initiated,” police posted on X.
