At least seven houses were damaged in a massive fire in Sheikh Mohalla Pandrethan area of Srinagar district on Friday.
Reports said that a massive in fire erupted in one house at around 4 am in the morning and immediately engulfed nearby houses.
An official said that a police team along with fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames with the help of locals, but till then seven residential structures were completely damaged, while other houses got partially damaged. No casualty has been reported in the incident.
He said the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
