Several Houses Damaged in South Kashmir Fire

   

SRINAGAR: At least eight residential houses got damaged in a fire incident in the Khanbal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, on Tuesday.

Quoting an official, Kashmir Scroll reported that a fire broke out in the boat colony area of Khanbal which engulfed several houses.

He said that the fire was brought under control, however, not before it caused partial damage to several residential houses. “The houses belong to Ab Gani Wani S/O Gh.Mohd, M Ashraf Pushu S/O Gh.Qadir, Sajad Wani S/O Ab Gani, Mushtaq Handroo S/O Ab.Aziz, Nisar Ahmad Gadda S/O Ab Rehman, Baby Jan W/O Mohd Ismail, Mukhtar Ahmad Guru S/O Gh Mohd and Javaid Ahmad Shaksaaz S/O Ab Gaffar, all residents of Boat Colony Khanabal.”

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation in this regard.
