Shab-i-Qadar holiday on August 6

SRINAGAR

 According to a government order issued by General Administration Department (GAD) here on Monday, it is ordered that the holiday on account of Shab-i-Qadar will be now observed on August 6, 2013 (Tuesday) instead of August 5, 2013 (Monday).

Shab-i-Qadar, is observed from the evening of 26^th Ramadhan up to the morning of 27^th Ramadhan. The Muslims, throughout the night desist from sleeping and remain busy in special prayers.
