The Jammu & Kashmir High Court Tuesday granted bail to the state’s former health minister, Shabir Khan in the molestation case. The minister is charged of allegedly molesting a lady doctor.
The court observed that since Khan is complying with police probe, he can be granted bail.
Pertinently, MLA Rajouri, Shabir Khan had to resign from state health ministry after the case of molestation was registered against him in Police station Shahid Gunj Srinagar.
After the lady doctor filed a formal complaint with police, it lodged a case FIR no. 09 U/S 354, 509 RPC dated 06.02.2014 at police station Shaheed Gunj.
Khan was granted bail up to February 18 and the same was extended.
