Senior IBPS Officer Shabir Mujahid joined as Director Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar on Monday.
Prasar Bharti Broadcasting Corporation vide its order no 94/2013/S.III transferred Shabir Mujahid from Jammu to Srinagar Kendra. He is the only officer from Jammu and Kashmir who has distinction of covering all major National and International Sports and other important Events.
He was part of the Doordarshan Team who covered Beijing Olympics, Common Wealth Games in England and Australia. During serving in Doordarshan at various positions, he has directed more than 150 Serials, Documentaries and other programmes.
