Justifying the protests by Muslims in Bhaderwah against the desecration of Holy Qur’an, senior separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah Saturday said the religious sentiments of Muslims are being hurt “under a well planned conspiracy”.
“To respect and revere the holy book is part of our faith and any such act that violates its sanctity is intolerable,” he said and demanded the perpetrators of the crime be brought to book at earliest.
