Shabir Shah, as per a statement telephonically addressed the funeral procession of Mohammad Altaf Baba, who was killed during an encounter in the Pulwama district.

“Kashmiri nation has offered sacrifices for their right to self-determination and not for chair under Indian constitution,” Shah said.

While paying tributes the deceased militants, Altaf Baba and Mohammad Abbas, shah said that they will not allow the blood of the ‘martyrs’ to go waste.

The spokespersons of DFP and NF told Kashmir Life that large contingents of police early cordoned off the residencies of Shah and Khan and did not allow them to move out.

Both Shah and Khan are parts of the Hurriyat Conference (M), but they are maintaining gap with the separatist amalgam from recent past.
