Shaheen Sports Syndicate Trust (SSST) Wednesday organised a social service camp at Khust Ashram Bhagwati Nagar Jammu in which woollen blankets, torch lights, clothing and food stuffs were distributed amongst Leper inmates of the Ashram.
Raman Kushal, Vice-President J&K Bank, was Chief Guest on the occasion.
Vipin Gupta, former football legend, Suresh Gupta, Prabhat Singh Jamwal Gen Secretary All India J&K Bank officers association, Dr Kuldeep Gupta, President J&K Bank officers association and members from civil society Jammu were also present on the occasion, a statement issued by SSST said this evening.
A cultural programme was also organised in which students of a local school were also performed.
Chairperson SSST Showkat Khanyari, highlighted the role of civil society for providing support to inmates of the Ashram.
He also thanked top management of J&K Bank in contributing genuinely towards social works.
Chief Guest on the occasion appreciated the role of syndicate for providing a helping hand to the lepers of the ashram and in other social works besides sports.
