SRINAGAR: Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi has tested positive for Covid-19.
Taking to a social networking site, Twitter, Afridi wrote: “I have unfortunately tested positive but have no symptoms at all. InshALLAH hope to recover soon, test negative and rejoin QG as soon as possible. Good luck to all teams in #HBLPSL7 I’m committed to giving it my all in my last PSL edition.”

This is the second time that Afridi has tested positive for Covid-19, with the first instance being back in June 2020 when he was involved in relief work during the early stages of the pandemic.
