SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Sunday assigned Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, Shailendra Kumar the additional charge of Chief Secretary until Sajjan Singh Yadav joins the Union Territory.
The order was issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha under Government Order No. 1725-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated November 1.
Kumar, an IAS officer of the 1995 AGMUT cadre, will look after the responsibilities of the Chief Secretary in addition to his existing charge as Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department.
