SRINAGAR: Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, on Friday approved the Parimpora-Shalteng Flyover, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion.
In addition, he pledged support for an infrastructure project in Sonamarg, focusing on enhancing connectivity.
Expressing appreciation, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha conveyed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari for their support.
In a tweet, Sinha stated, “Grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari for assistance to a key infra project that will boost connectivity to Sonamarg and approval to the vital Parimpora-Shalteng Flyover to ease traffic congestion and make travel smoother for people of North Kashmir.”
