BARAMULLA
National Conference (NC) candidate for Baramulla, Lok Sabha constituency Sharif-ul-din Shariq Wednesday filed his nomination papers at the office of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla.
Shariq was accompanied by NC Parton Dr. Farooq Abdullah and his close supporters.
Meanwhile, National Panthers Party candidate, Syed Rafiq Shah also filed his nomination papers.
Election on the Baramulla seat is scheduled on May 30.
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has fielded its senior leader, Muzaffar Hussain Baig from the constituency.
Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) President, Er Rashid is also contesting the election from Baramulla.
