JKLF leader Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi has been taken into custody by police. A JKLF statement said that Bakhshi’s residence was raided last night and he was taken to some unknown destination.
“JKLF leader Noor Mohammad Kalwal and others are already in police custody,” the statement added.
Chairman JKLF, advocate Bashir ahmad butt has strongly condemned the arrests, curfew, restrictions, ban on media, internet and other sources of communication and termed it as anti democracy and dictatorial.
Butt said that Indian rulers and their ‘puppets’ in Kashmir are behaving like czars and Hitler’s and have used repressive measures of medieval age to suppress people’s voice. Butt said these rulers are actually new kind of dictators who through their army and forces suppress people and humans.
