Shiban Dudha, a Kashmiri Pundit leader who recently joined National Conference passed away at Fortis Hospital  last night.

The demise has been widely condoled. According to spokesman,  Union minister and President of National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and working President Omar Abdullah, have expressed deep shock and have offered condolences over the demise.

“I express my deepest anguish at the very sad demise of Shiban Dudha” said Farooq Abdullah in a statement adding “It is indeed a very sad news” Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Farooq conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah who is also working President of J&K National Conference while expressing deep shock  described his death as  big loss to the party, Kashmir Pandit community and over all to the civil society.

In his condolence message to the bereaved family, Omar Abdullah expressed his solidarity with them, conveyed his sympathy and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Provincial President of Kashmir Nasir Aslam Wani, Provincial President of Jammu Devender Singh Rana and Political Secretary to Chief Minister Tanvir Sadiq have also condoled the sad demise of Shiban Dudha.

In their condolence message, they said that it is a Huge loss to the party. They also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and conveyed his condolence to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
