Second militant has been killed in South Kashmir’s Shopian.
Police sources said that the militant killed has been identified as Adil Khanday of Barbug, Imam Saebun Shopian.
Witnesses said that hundreds of locals have assembled and heavy stone pelting is going-on near the encounter site.
Earlier, Irshad Ahmad Shah, who sources said was associated with Hizbul Mujahideen militant group for last one year died in the encounter with forces.
The encounter started at Manzimpora area near Imam Sahib Thursday evening.
