SRINAGAR: An army trooper was injured in a gunfight at Heff Shirmal area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday, officials said.
A top police officer said that during initial exchange of fire one army soldier received splinter injuries.
He has been shifted to 92 Base hospital for advanced treatment, the officer added.
Earlier, an unidentified militant was also killed during initial of fire with police and army. More details will follow. (GNS)
