As the fresh bout of firing was reported from Burbugh village in Imam Sahib, second militant has been killed in the operation, police sources said.
In the encounter which started Saturday evening, earlier one militant was killed, while other is in the police custody after being found in the debris.
“Today morning 1 terrorist was eliminated in #Shopian encounter in a joint operation. One terrorist has been arrested with weapon. Well done!” tweets DGP Dr S P Vaid.
Sunday morning, police official said the fresh firing started when police and army were conducting search operation. “In this another militant has been killed,” said an official.
