Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in South Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama districts against the killings of two militants and a civilian during a gunfight between the government forces and militants in Chaigund village of district Shopian on Wednesday.

Reports said that all business establishments, private institutions are closed in both the areas while public transport is off the roads.

During the encounter on Wednesday, two militants and one civilian were killed and more than two people also sustained pellet injuries.
