Terming the killing of an eighteen year old boy of Shopian village, as “deeply disturbing”, former chief minister and National conference Vice president Omar Abdullah on Saturday said that there can be no justification for the act, and the sympathizers of the outfit should be questioned how these “murders” make Kashmir better and freer place.

“The cold blooded murder of an 11th standard student by the Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit is deeply disturbing. There can be no justification for this act & should force those who sympathise with these outfits to question how these murders make Kashmir a better, freer place (sic),” Omar wrote on his twitter handle.

An 18-year old youth was abducted and later shot dead by unknown gunmen at Niklora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on late Thursday evening.

The youth was identified as Nadeem Manzoor Dar (18), a resident Safanagri village in Shopian. His body  was later found at Niklora village in neighbouring Pulwama district.
