Normal life remained affected in Kashmir valley for second consecutive day Saturday on the call of resistance leadership with shops and business establishments remaining closed while public transport was mostly off the roads.
In the southern parts of the valley, a thin movement of traffic was witnessed on roads while markets are shut.
Similar reports were reported from northern parts of Kashmir.
Though restrictions were not imposed in any part of valley, but considerable deployment of forces was on roads.
However, no reports of protests or clashes were reported from any part of the valley.
