Hajin town of Bandipora district in north Kashmir is observing a complete shutdown today on Tuesday to mourn the killings of two minor militants.

Local sources said that all the shops and business establishments are shut while traffic is also off the roads.

Forces have been deployed at many places in order to prevent any untoward incidents, witnesses said.

Notably, three Lashkar-e-Toiba militants were killed in Mujgund area on the outskirts of Srinagar.

The slain militants were later identified as Mudasir Rashid Parray, Saqib Bilal Shiekh both residents of Hajin and a Pakistani militant identified as Ali Bhai.

Thousands of people on Monday participated in the joint funeral of both the local militants at their ancestral village in Hajin.
