Tral township of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district is observing a complete shutdown for the second consecutive day on Wednesday to mourn the killing of two militants.

Reports said all shops and businesses establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in Tral town and adjoining areas for the second consecutive day.

They said people from various areas of Tral are visiting the residences of the slain militants to offer condolences.

The two slain militants identified as Irfan Ahmad Rather alias Abu Talib from Sharifabad village and Adfar Fayaz alias Abu Zarar of Gulshapora village of Tral were killed and a civilian was injured during an encounter with government forces at Naik Mohalla.
