SRINAGAR: The Special Investigation Agency (SIA) carried out searches at a house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district in connection with a terror-related case on Saturday.
As per media reports, searches were carried out at around 4 am at the residence of the suspect, Mohammad Hafiz, located in Kanuyian village. “Hafiz was not present at his house during the time of the raid.”
Meanwhile, police along with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) initiated a joint cordon-and-search operation at various locations in the Poonch district. These locations include Copra top, Bachian Wali, Shiendara, Thandi Kassi, and Mohalla Saedan. The operation commenced early in the morning and was still ongoing at the time of the latest reports.
