SRINAGAR: A single lane of the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway has been cleared for vehicular movement, allowing stranded traffic to move after hours of disruption, officials said on Monday.
They said road clearance teams worked continuously to remove debris triggered by landslides and shooting stones in Ramban district.
Traffic is being regulated on the restored stretch, while efforts are underway to fully clear the highway. Authorities have advised commuters to follow traffic advisories and avoid unnecessary travel until complete restoration.(KNS).
