Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister, Yashwant Sinha on Wednesday and Thursday called on National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah respectively in Srinagar.
In both the meetings, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah reiterated the party’s stand that open-ended and comprehensive dialogue is the only way forward to ensure peace and reconciliation in the State and also reiterated the party’s stand on Article 35-A and the State’s Special Status, said a spokesman.
Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior leaders Mohammad Shafi Uri, Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzaan and Muhammad Akbar Lone were also present in the meetings.
