Situation remained peaceful across the valley so far, claims a police statement issued on Wednesday. The statement said that curfew was relaxed in areas of police station Kakepora, Lassipora, Rajpora of Pulwama district from 9 am onwards, in Awantipora from 10 am onwards. In Kupwara district, curfew was relaxed from 10 am onwards in the areas of police station Kupwara, Kralpora, Sogam, Lalpora.
According to the statement in Srinagar district the curfew was relaxed from 9 am onwards in the areas of police stations, R.M Bagh, Kothibagh, Sadder, Rajbagh, Lalbazar, Nigeen, Zakoora, Panthachowk, Parimpora, Bemina and Nowgam.
In Baramulla the curfew was partially lifted in some areas of police station Baramulla from 4 pm to 6 pm and also in Sopore partial relaxation was given in areas of Sopore police station from 4 pm to 6 pm.
In Budgam the curfew was relaxed from 10 am to 12 am which was extended. The police said.
