SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have arrested 6 persons from a gang involved in threatening, and extortion of money from people in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
In a tweet, Srinagar police wrote, “6 members of a criminal gang involved in robberies arrested. The modus operandi of the gang was to threaten and extort money from people using toy pistols, walkie talkie sets & other articles. Fir no 94/2022 registered under relevant sections in Zakura PS. 2 vehicles also seized”.
