SRINAGAR: Six people were killed and one remains missing after a military helicopter crashed in the territorial waters of Qatar following a technical malfunction, Al Jazeera reported, quoting the interior ministry.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing to locate the missing individual, with specialised teams deployed in the area.
Earlier, the defence ministry said the helicopter went down during a routine mission after developing a technical fault. Authorities have not released further details about the victims or the circumstances leading to the crash.
