Six militants were killed in Uri in northern part of Kashmir after they “infiltrated through Line of Control” (LoC) on Friday, police said.

Earlier in the day army spokesperson said that two militants were killed in an encounter. The encounter continued for a day.
The identity of the militants was not revealed and as per officials they are believed to be foreign faces.
As per police officials attempts of infiltration on LoC have surged recently. This week witnessed a number of encounters along the LoC.
