Six Structures Damaged in Fire Incidents Across Valley

Six structures were damaged in two separate fire incidents in the valley, a police statement said Friday evening.

Fire broke out in a residential house of Sultan Ahmad Ahanger resident of Ahanger Mohalla Khag, District Budgam, resulting in the damage to the structure.

In another incident, fire broke out in the temporary sheds erected by Biharis at Rakhrath Hamza Mohalla in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bemina, Srinagar, resulting in complete damage to these makeshifts. Fire also caught the nearby houses belonging to Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Ali Mohammad, Nazir Ahmad Sofi, Haji Ghulam Mohammad Lone and Abdul Ahad Sheikh, resulting in partial damage to the structures.

However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.

Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders.
