SRINAGAR: Nearly a fortnight after police arrested SMC Corporator Aqib Renzu Shah on charges of sexual harassment, outraging modesty and online stalking, the authorities on Thursday booked him under Public Safety Act.
Quoting a senior official, GNS reported that the the Corporator has been booked vide Deputy Commisioner’s order no DMS -69 -2023 dated 04-10- 2023.
He has been shifted to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu, the official added.
