SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Valley is set to experience light snowfall in higher altitudes as a weak Western Disturbance impacts the region from tonight until Saturday afternoon. A brief rain spell is also possible in some plains, particularly in northern parts of the valley.
Another weak Western Disturbance is expected to influence the region on December 2, 3 bringing similar conditions with snowfall in the mountains and scattered rain in lower elevations, Kashmir Weather reported.
Following these disturbances, dry weather is forecast to prevail from December 4 to 7. However, this period of calm will be accompanied by a significant drop in night temperatures, resulting in colder mornings and frosty nights.
Weather experts have urged residents to prepare for the increasingly chilly conditions as December progresses.
