SRINAGAR: Following the recent snowfall across the Kashmir Valley, at least one 33KV and 37 11KV power feeders were reported down.
According to the Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL), out of a total of 1,277 11KV lines, 1,240 were functioning normally, while 37 11KV feeders were down as of 9:30 PM.
In the case of 33KV lines, only one out of 134 feeders was affected.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, said that the administration was continuously monitoring the situation.
“We are working on the damaged lines and assure the public that we will restore them soon,” Bidhuri said. (KNO)
